Antarctica Travel Information

A leader's perspective...

I class myself as extremely lucky to have been one of few to visit Antarctica – an awe-inspiring adventure that will never be forgotten. It takes a few days to find your sea legs but once in there, you float effortlessly through the days of walking on the icy continent, frolicking around with the hundreds of penguins, getting up close and personal with the huge elephant seals, drifting alongside the vast icebergs, becoming an expert in spotting rare birds, or to even having an opportunity for a quick (10 second) dip in the icy waters. At the end of the day, settling back watching the midnight sun whilst sipping a G&T with fresh Antarctic ice is an image that will stick in my mind for ever...
